Dr. Ramya Shanbhog is a Homeopath specialized in counseling, and developmental psychopathologies. She has over 15 years of clinical experience. A Homeopathic doctor from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Dr.Ramya has a post graduate diploma in child counseling from Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute. She has received training in Predictive Homeopathy from Dr. Prafull Vijaykar. She has also trained from ‘The other song academy’ Mumbai.
After obtaining her PG Diploma in child counseling, she has been training under the renowned clinical psychologist and expert in developmental psychopathology Dr. Malavika Kapur.
Dr. Ramya is also trained in play therapy, art therapy, and Cognitive behavior therapy.
She is a certified practitioner of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and uses it extensively for her counselling cases.
Dr. Ramya, who is a trained classical musician and has won several accolades for her singing talent, is presently pursuing a post graduate diploma in Music therapy.
Dr. Ramya was a consultant homeopath at Kamadhenu Health Spa in Kolar. She also presented papers as a resource person in the Govt Women & Child Health Program conducted at Kolar.
Dr. Ramya volunteers for the organization "Doctors for Seva". She conducts mental health awareness program for adolescents. She has trained govt. social workers in mental health programs. She is a resource person for the doctors for seva initiative at govt. Balamandir project which addresses the issues of runaway kids.
Dr. Ramya was the resource person for ASHA[Adolescent Sexual Health Awareness] program for students conducted at Deccan International School.
